Huawei Watch GT 2 and GT 2e receiving September 2020 update

Huawei Watch GT 2 and Watch GT 2e smartwatch users now receiving the September 2020 update with the latest software version 1.0.9.58 and 1.0.5.20 respectively. The Watch GT 2 update changelog only includes system stability optimization while the GT 2e update brings optimization of GPS performance, some known issues fix, and more.

HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 VERSION 1.0.9.58 CHANGELOG:

HUAWEI WATCH GT 2E VERSION 1.0.5.20 CHANGELOG:

Changelog: 

• Add more professional data to the elliptical machine/rowing machine.
• Optimize system stability.
• Optimize GPS performance.
• Solve some known problems.

Remember before upgrading:

1) The update progress in the app only refers to the transmission of the update package. The package still needs to be installed on the watch to complete the update.

2) The battery level of the watch must be 30% for the update.

3) Make sure that the Bluetooth connection is stable during the update and repeat the process in case of an error.

How to update Huawei SmartWatch:

Connect the watch to your phone using the Huawei Health app, open the app, touch Devices, touch the device name, choose the Firmware update. Download it.
