Huawei Watch GT Runner is launching on November 17

Huawei has officially made an announcement about its next product, company on its official Weibo handle shared a post that it will hold a new product launch conference for Huawei’s full-scenario smart life at 19:30 on November 17, 2021, launching new products such as the Huawei Watch GT Runner smartwatch. This watch is designed for professional runners.

As per the promotional poster of Huawei Watch GT Runner, the watch uses a circular screen design with the words “SPORT-LAP” engraved on the frame, and the watch can display the athlete’s pace, running power index, heart rate, distance, etc.

The upcoming Huawei Watch GT Runner will be powered by the HarmonyOS system, is the first use floating antenna design professional sports stopwatch, can achieve precise positioning runway level. According to He Gang, the COO of Huawei’s consumer business, Huawei is applying for a patent for this technology.

Huawei released the Watch GT 3 in the global market on October 22 this year. This watch is a minor revision of the previously released Watch 3. It is available in 46mm and 42mm sizes and runs Hongmeng Harmony OS 2.1.

Huawei Watch GT 3 46mm uses a 1.46-inch AMOLED display, while the 42mm version uses a 1.32-inch AMOLED screen. This watch is also equipped with an ARM Cortex-M processor. In addition to the Huawei Watch GT Runner officially announced by Huawei, according to previous news, at this conference, Huawei may also launch a new two-in-one notebook, as well as mouth-infrared headsets, etc.
