In Europe Huawei P40 series getting December 2020 security patch update

Huawei has recently completed its EMUI 11 program for the Huawei P40 series and Mate 30 in Europe and now the company moving ahead to distribute the security patch updates for these devices owner.

Now, the Huawei P40 series in Europe getting the December 2020 security patch with improves system security. The updates also adds a new fast file transfer feature to transfer large files with a high speed as cleared by the source. This new Flash file transfer system supports Ultra-large file transfer at 305Mbps high speed at a long distance and can share up to 400GB large files.

Huawei P40 series latest update in Europe rolling out with version number 11.0.0.168 with the package size of about 531MB.

Huawei P40 series EMUI 11.0.0.168 Update Changelog:

  • Integrates security patches released in December 2020 for improved system security.
  • December security update fixes 1 critical and 11 high levels of CVE’s.

Download from your system settings option: Tap on Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates and Download it!
