June 2021 security patch is now available for the Honor Play 4T Pro and 20S

Honor 20S and Honor Play 4T Pro smartphone users are now getting the June 2021 security patch update in China. This latest update for both the devices are rolling out with versions 10.1.0.117 and 3.1.0.121 and it includes June 2021 security patch.

As usual, this update is rolling out in batches, and users are advised to keep patience, you will get it soon. The latest update is based on Magic UI 3.1 and EMUI 10.1.

The June 2021 EMUI/Magic UI security patch includes the CVE announced in the June 2021 Android security bulletin. It includes 2 Criticals and 13 High levels of CVE’s.

How to update Honor Play 4T Pro?

First check, if you haven’t received a notification yet, check for the OTA update in Settings manually, just tap on the Setting option in your smartphone, Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates > Download and install.

You can also update using the Support app. Open the app, go to  Support app> Services>Update> Check for Updates> Download & Install.

Via Support: Open app -> Services Tab -> Update -> CHECK FOR UPDATES -> Download and install.

Via Settings: Open System Settings -> System -> Software update -> CHECK FOR UPDATES -> Download and install.
