New HarmonyOS 2.0 version 215 released for Huawei P50 Pro

Huawei launched the P50 series flagship smartphones in its home market in July this year. According to the official information, Huawei P50 Pro phone users in China are now receiving the HarmonyOS 2.0.0.215 update. The latest update enhances the distributed gallery function, allows you to access photos of your other devices across the network, optimizes the experience of camera recording and fingerprint unlocking. Changes:

  • Gallery: Enhanced distributed gallery function, you can access photos of your other devices across the network (you need to log in to the same HUAWEI ID)

  • Improve the fingerprint unlocking experience in some scenarios

Huawei P50 Pro Specifications:

As for the specifications, the Huawei P50 Pro features a 6.6-inch curved OLED display with a screen resolution of 2700 x 1228 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, 1440Hz PWM dimming, and can show up to 1.07 billion colors.

Underneath, the device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 flagship chipset. However, the processor in this smartphone doesn’t support 5G connectivity and is limited to 4G. There’s also another variant of the phone which is powered by the company’s own HiSilicon Kirin 9000 SoC.

It is running Huawei’s own HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system and is powered by a 4,360mAh battery that supports 66W fast wired charging and 50W wireless fast charging along with support for reverse wireless charging.
