New member of Huawei Mate family will be unveiled on May 19

Huawei on Weibo officially made an announcement that a new member of the Mate family will be unveiled at 14:30 on May 19, and there will be a big surprise. According to the last leak, Huawei will release the new Huawei children’s watch 4X and Huawei body fat scale 3 Pro on May 19th alongside MateView and MateView GT.

The new displays MateView and MateView GT will be released on the same day, but Huawei FreeBuds 4, MateBook 16, MatePad Pro 2 and Watch 3 series will be released on June 2.

Huawei’s new MateView display includes a 32-inch model and a 42-inch curved fish screen gaming model. The gaming model has a 21:9 “3K+” resolution, which is expected to be 3440*1440 resolution and a refresh rate of 165Hz. There are dual speakers; the professional model has a 4K + resolution. In view of the previous news that it is a 3:2 ratio, it is expected to have a resolution of 4500:3000, a screen-to-body ratio close to 100%, HDR400 certification, and 10bit color depth.
