Quarterly Security Update Huawei devices list
Huawei has officially shared the December 2022 EMUI/Magic UI security patch details which basically include 17 High levels of CVEs. The Chinese tech giant has also listed the list of smartphones that are eligible for the Quarterly Security Update in China.
As per the listing, there are two devices that will get EMUI/Magic UI Quarterly Security Update and those are Honor Play 4T and Honor Play 9A.
The monthly and quarterly security updates include patches for security issues related to the Android operating system, as well as patches issued by Huawei for specific security issues on Huawei devices. Although Huawei does its best to integrate security patches into corresponding models of devices, the delivery time of security patches may vary by region and model.
