Starting from September 1, 2022, Huawei AppGallery will no longer accept apps having 32-bit versions

According to Huawei’s email, Huawei’s application market (AppGallery) will fully promote the upgrade of Android applications to 64-bit versions, with the purpose to better improve the performance experience of Android applications and reduce the impact of Android applications’ power consumption.

Check the starting date:

1) Starting from February 1, 2022, games and applications newly launched/upgraded on the Huawei App Market must contain the 64-bit version, and the Huawei App Market will no longer accept apps that only contain the 32-bit version;

2) Starting from September 1, 2022, Huawei App Market will no longer accept apps containing 32-bit versions.

By the end of this year, all apps and games need to upload APKs with 64-bit builds (covering existing app updates and new version releases) as planned for China All mobile Android applications on the market will be ready for the full spread of 64-bit architecture by the end of August 2022.
