WhatsApp is now working on a new user interface. The latest changes are ongoing on the current testing version. The new user interface and enhancements have been spotted in the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.18.18 update.
As you can see in the screenshot shared by WABetaInfo will receive a significant overhaul in a future update. The user interface remains largely unchanged. But if you look closer, the top status bar is now white instead of green.
It was spotted in the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.17.1.77 update on the TestFlight app.
