2020 Global Most Valuable Brands, Huawei Enters In Top 10

BrandFinance (British brand financial consulting company) released the ” 2020 Global Most Valuable Brands 500 ” (Brand Finance Global 500 2020). China has 70 companies in the top 500, with a share of 18.9% and a brand value of US $133.4 billion.

On the top 10 list, American companies grab 6 seats, Chinese companies grabs 3 seats, and South Korean companies grab 1 seat.

The first place is Amazon, with a brand value exceeding the US $220.7 billion, an increase of 17.5% over last year. These increases are due to Amazon’s expansion in cloud computing, streaming media, consumer electronics, and logistics.

The second place is Google, with a brand value of more than US $ 159.7 billion, a year-on-year increase of 11.9%; the third place is Apple, with a brand value of more than the US $140.5 billion, a year-on-year decline of 8.5%.

The 4th to 10th places are Microsoft (US $117 billion), Samsung (US $94.4 billion), Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (US $80.7 billion), Facebook (US $77.9 billion), Wal-Mart (US $77.5 billion), and China Ping An (US$ 69 billion) ), Huawei ($65 billion).
