EMUI 10 Alert: Honor 8X, Honor 9X and Honor 20 Lite getting EMUI 10 update

Honor has started rolling out the latest EMUI 10 update to the Honor 8X, Honor 9X and Honor 20 Lite users in Germany. Yesterday, Huawei officially announced the next Emotion UI version EMUI 10.1 on an online P40 series launch event. EMUI 10.1 brings an AI Assistant, New Multi-Window, MeeTime video calling app and more useful features.

Honor 8X, Honor 9X, and Honor 20 Lite EMUI Versions:

  • Honor 8X – EMUI 10.0.0.175 (C432E5R1P3)
  • Honor 9X – EMUI 10.0.0.182 (C431E3R1P1)
  • Honor 20 Lite – EMUI 10.0.0.169 (C431E5R1P7)

This update provides app multiplier support for multiple apps, including Mango TV, RED, and China Merchants Bank, and fixes an issue where some apps may exit unexpectedly in certain situations.

The update is available as an OTA (Over The Air) update and comes with different sizes. We highly recommend installing the update via a good internet connection.
