Honor 9X series smartphones are a part of the quarterly security patch updates list and recently the company has confirmed Hongmeng OS eligibility for this device.
Now, according to the official update information, Honor has started rolling out a February 2021 security update for the Honor 9X and 9X Pro smartphone users. This new update for Honor 9X Series comes with software version 10.1.0.126 and it is recommended that you update as soon as possible.

There are two ways to update your device/smartphone, Via Settings option, or Via Support app.
Via Settings: Just tap on Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates and Download it!
Via Support app: Support> Services -> Update > Check for updates.
