In April this year, it was open sourced for 128MB-4GB memory terminal devices. In the next month, it will be open sourced for all devices with 4GB or more of memory.

HarmonyOS 2.0 focuses on upgrading distributed capabilities, including distributed software buses, distributed data management, and distributed security. It supports equipment manufacturers to define new equipment with software, making development easier, and joining the full-scenario smart ecosystem in different ways. For application developers, Hongmeng OS 2.0 also brings a new development experience, including the construction of a complete platform tool chain and ecology for all-scenario applications, an application framework that allows applications to flow freely between devices, more than 13,000 APIs, and one-time development Development environment for multi-terminal deployment.
