New Huawei Mate series phone spotted online (Not Mate 40), coming in May or June 2020

Mysterious Huawei smartphone belongs to Huawei Mate series is spotted online. The smartphone is not the Mate 40 but it will get a tag of Mate series. This high-end mobile phone may release in May or June 2020.

Apart from the image, the other specifications are not disclosed yet. (Via @hereYashRaj). Also, a well-known leaker from Weibo also shared this information.

Regarding, the Huawei Mate 40 series it will come with a new generation of Kirin processor. Huawei will not only use the 5nm TSMC process, but it is rumored that both the CPU and GPU will be significantly improved.

The Huawei Mate 40 chipset will add TSMC’s 5nm for better power efficiency and more stable performance. For now, currently, 5 nm have two tech N5 and N5P. Compared to the older 7nm manufacturing process, N5 improves performance by 15 percent, power consumption by 30 percent and crystal density by 80 percent. It is reported that the processor part of Kirin 1020 is based on the Cortex A77 or even A78.
