Official: No more security updates for Honor 8 Pro

Honor 8 Pro users will not get any security updates in the future. Huawei Honor 8 Pro was launched in April 2017.  The phone runs on Android 7.0 OS at the launch time.  The Honor 8 Pro comes with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The phone is powered by 2.4 GHz Octa-core Kirin 960 Processor.

Huawei Honor 8 Pro has a 5.7-inch screen IPS LCD Multi-touch display having a resolution of 1440 x 2560 at 515 PPI and 4000 mAh battery.

Huawei Honor 8 Pro boasts of the dual primary camera of 12 + 12 MP megapixel and 8 megapixel front Camera. The Smartphone has a low camera aperture of 2.2. It also supports Face Detection and high dynamic range(HDR) imaging. Connectivity options include 3G, 4G, GPS, Wifi, NFC Bluetooth capabilities.

Official Words: We would like to inform you that since this product maintenance period has been over, there will be no more security patches available in the future. However, we suggest you to keep your device applications updated through the Play Store or Huawei App Gallery. We appreciate your understanding.
