Last month, Huawei launched the HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system for smartphones and during the event, the company has stated that the HarmonyOS 2.0 will be available in 100 models this year including phones and tablets.

The good news of the event also includes that Huawei’s older smartphones including Huawei Mate 9, Huawei Mate 10, Huawei P20 Series, and Huawei Nova 5, and more smartphones will also get HarmonyOS 2.0 updates.

Now, starting July 08, 2021, Huawei HarmonyOS officially announced today that 8 smartphones including Huawei nova 8 series, nova 7 series, MatePad 10.8 inches, and other models have started receiving stable HarmonyOS update, and a number of Huawei smart screens have started the internal test recruitment.

To upgrade the official version, you can click the ” My Huawei ” App, enter the “Upgrade Early Access”, and click “View Now”. The smart screen internal test registration can be viewed in the “Club” App.

Meanwhile, it is expected that at least 300 million devices will be equipped with the HarmonyOS system by the end of this year, of which 200 million will be Huawei’s own equipment.
