The latest Huawei P50 Series updates

The Huawei P50 series was launched in back 2021. The P50 standard variant comes with a 6.50-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1224×2700 pixels. Under the hood, Huawei added a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 4100mAh battery.

In terms of camera the Huawei P50 arrived with a 50-megapixel (f/1.8) primary camera; a 13-megapixel (f/2.2) camera, a 12-megapixel (f/3.4) camera, and a 13-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.4 aperture.

The Huawei P50 runs HarmonyOS 2 and includes Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5.20, NFC, and USB Type-C. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. October 01, 2022: The Europe units of the Huawei P50 Pro are now getting the September 2022 security patch update based on EMUI 12 – 12.0.1274.

September 27, 2022: On September 2022, Huawei officially listed two new phones, the Huawei P50 and P50 Pro without the Leica logo on the rear side.

August 31, 2022: Huawei P50 Pro is getting a new firmware update in Europe. The latest update comes as usual OTA and brings the August 2022 security patch with the firmware version 12.0.1.256.

August 11, 2022: Huawei P50 Pro July 2022 security patch went live in Europe with the firmware version 12.0.1.248.
