According to the international market research organization, IC Insights announced the sales ranking of the world’s top ten semiconductor manufacturers in the first quarter of 2020. Among them, Huawei HiSilicon ranked tenth, becoming the first Chinese company among the top ten semiconductor suppliers in the world.

Top 10 semiconductor Sales Leader in Q1 2020:

TSMC – (Taiwan)
Sk Hynix – (South Korea)
Micron – (U.S.)
Broadcom Inc – (U.S.)
TI – (U.S.)
Nvidia – (U.S.)
HiSilicon – (China)

Among the top 10 semiconductor manufacturers, 6 are U.S. companies, 2 are Korean companies, and one each in Taiwan and China. Among them, there are two newly listed companies, they are HiSilicon and Nvidia. These two companies replaced Infineon and Kioxia in the top-10 listing.

IC Insights pointed out that in the first quarter of this year, total sales of the world’s top ten semiconductor manufacturers increased by 16% year-on-year. Among the top 10 companies, 9 have sales of at least $3 billion.
