After the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Huawei HMS for Car will land in BYD Han

Recently, Huawei’s consumer business CEO Yu Chengdong has officially stated that the buyers of the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class can experience the HMS for Car fast application service. Consumers can use a variety of third-party apps on the large screen of the car’s central control and can enjoy various in-car entertainment functions such as reading news, listening to stories, watching videos, and playing games while resting after driving.

Now, BYD General Manager Zhao Changjiang also stated that BYD Han will also use the HMS (Huawei Mobile Services) soon.  It is understood that Huawei HMS for Car is Huawei’s smart car cloud service solution.

Based on the rich application ecology of Huawei’s terminal cloud service, it can provide high-quality interactive experience for cars and machines in the form of fast applications based on real-time networks, including the car application market, Huawei Smart Assistant and other functions.

The quick application service can make the application run on the in-vehicle control screen without installation, click and use. It has the advantages of good Android application experience and powerful functions.

At the same time, combined with Huawei’s 1+8+N full-scenario smart life strategy, mobile phones, watches, speakers, smart screens, smart homes and other devices can be interconnected with vehicle data to create a full-scenario smart travel experience. Huawei’s consumer business cloud service president Zhang Ping’an said that Volvo, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Hongqi, BYD and other car companies are negotiating with Huawei. The mobile ecology is seamlessly connected to the car.
