Huawei Kirin 990A

Huawei using Kirin 990A as a grade A chip. In terms of architecture, Kirin 990A uses 4-core Taishan V120 (small) + 4-core based on ARM V7A series Vortex A55GPU part uses Mali-G76, in addition, Huawei also added the Da Vinci architecture computing power chips are 2 D110+1 A D100 size core.
According to the Weibo blogger Ju Chang Ying Ye Fan, there are many differences between car gauge chips and mobile phones. The process flow and core number stacking are completely different. Kirin 990A is said to be the host chip of Huawei’s in-vehicle system, and it will be sufficient for at least 2 years.
Meanwhile, Huawei will continue to increase investment in the automotive industry. This year’s investment in research and development will reach 1 billion U.S. dollars. The research and development team will exceed 5,000, of which more than 2,000 are autonomous driving.
