According to the latest information, the 1.0 version of the Ark compiler open-source project OpenArkCompiler was officially released, including front-end, middle-end, back-end, etc. Maple 1.0 provides a C compiler, stable aarch64 static Code generator, and a whole host of optimizations.
According to reports, OpenArkCompiler can compile different language codes into a set of executable files, which can be executed efficiently in the runtime environment:

- A lighter language runtime
- Software and hardware collaboration give full play to hardware energy efficiency
- Support a variety of terminal device platforms
In 2019, Huawei announced the open-source of the Ark compiler. Ark Compiler is a unified programming platform designed to support the joint compilation and operation of multiple programming languages and multiple chip platforms, including key components such as compilers, toolchains, and runtimes.
