Huawei Mate 20 Series HarmonyOS 2.0.0.209 update optimizes the display of geographic location icons

Huawei has started rolling out the optimization update for the display of geographic location icons based on HarmonyOS. The latest update for Huawei Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 Pro 8+128GB and Huawei Mate 20 X with the latest firmware version HarmonyOS 2.0.0.209, and the update size is 0.95GB.

There are two update packages for the Hongmeng HarmonyOS 2.0.0.209 version update of these three models, and the updated content is the same.

Update package 1

Service Center
In the service center (swipe up from the left or bottom right edge of the screen to enter), a new scene-based service combination is added on the “Discovery” tab. When added to the desktop, it can automatically adapt to the universal card and obtain similar services with one click.

Universal card
Added a universal card for portrait clustering (up-slide gallery application icon, can be added to the desktop), you can rotate the photos of the selected person, click on the avatar to change the person, click on the photo to jump to the clustering album of the person.

Keyboard
Added a quick download icon for the Celia Keyboard application (click to download and use it directly), and the Celia Keyboard can bring you a simple and safe input experience.

Smart voice
Optimize the intelligent voice function, wake up more sensitively.

System
Care for the elders, optimize basic experiences such as touch and volume, and add desktop icon magnification.

Optimize system power consumption in some scenarios.

Hundreds of models have been upgraded to Huawei HarmonyOS 2. In the near future, Huawei HarmonyOS 2 will be open to upgrades for more models, including many old phones from Huawei and Honor tablet products.

Huawei Mate 20 Pro sports a 6.39-inch screen with OLED display which exhibits a 1,440 x 3,120 pixels screen resolution. This phone is powered by the homegrown HiSilicon Kirin 980 with two dual-core Cortex A76 processors (2.6GHz + 1.92GHz) and a quad-core Cortex A55 (1.8GHz) processor. The processors are coupled with a Mali-G76 MP10 GPU and a sizable 6GB RAM can deliver a blazing fast usage and in-game performance.

The Honor Mate 20 Pro gets a 4,200mAh Li-Po battery, other connectivity features included are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS, and Glonass assisted location support, NFC and others. Port-wise this phone has got a USB Type-C port and the 3.5 mm audio jack is retained.
