Huawei Mate 50 series is expected to be released with Snapdragon 898: Q1 2022

As per the latest reports, Huawei’s next Mate 50 Series is said to be debut in the first quarter of 2022. Some Weibo tipsters confirmed the SoC of the device. Huawei will release the Mate 50 series based on Qualcomm’s new platform. We know that Qualcomm’s new platform will be named Snapdragon 898.
Due to well-known reasons, Huawei’s mobile phone business was blocked this year. The P50 series originally planned to be released in the first half of the year was postponed to the second half of this year, and it only supports 4G networks. Judging from the current news, the Mate 50 series equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 processor is still out of 5G.
According to previous reports, the Snapdragon 898 chip will debut at the end of this year (expected to be in December). It is based on Samsung’s 4nm process and uses a three-cluster architecture design. The super-large core is ARM Cortex X2, and its running score is expected to reach a new high.
In addition, Huawei Mate 50 series screens may use LTPO display screens, which support 1-120Hz high refresh rate free adjustment, smooth and power saving.
