Huawei Nova 6 series getting EMUI 10.1.0.77 Public beta update with Smart Split Screen, Multi-device control center and more

Huawei has started rolling out EMUI 10.1 Pubic Beta update for the Huawei Nova 6 series. The latest update brings version number EMUI 10.1 version is 10.1.0.77. EMUI 10.1 public beta brings a bunch of new features like Split-screen, Multi-device control center, Dark Mode, Screen Sharing, and Distributed Gallery.

EMUI 10.1 Public Beta Nova 6 Series Models:

• Huawei Nova 6 – WLZ AL10 (Required Version  10.0.1.173/178)
• Huawei Nova 6 5G – WLZ AN00 (Required Version  10.0.1.173/178)
• Huawei Nova 6 SE – JNY AL10 (Required Version  10.0.1.160)

Huawei Nova 6 series EMUI 10.1.0.77 Changelog:

[Smart Split Screen] Swipe inward from both sides of the screen and pause, call the side application bar, long press and drag The application immediately opens the split-screen; click the application to open the floating window, when watching videos or playing games, you can reply to the instant message through the floating window, the experience is uninterrupted, and the operation is more efficient.

[Multi-device control center] From the bottom left corner or bottom right corner of the bottom of the screen Slide up to bring up a multi-device control center, which can realize the collaboration between smart devices, automatically discover, intelligently recommend the optimal output or answering device, and easily realize the continuous playback of audio and video between the mobile phone and other devices.

[Dark Mode] Multiple third-party applications, allowing you to experience a more comprehensive display in dark mode.

[Screen sharing] Share the screen during a video call. Not only can you share screen information, but you can also freely graffiti on the screen while chatting Sharing information is like face-to-face communication and interaction.

[Gallery] It brings new distributed management capabilities, Search a single image in multiple devices.

Download the latest version via, Tap on Settings -> ‘System & updates’ -> ‘Software update’ ->‘Check for updates’ -> ‘Download and install’.
