According to the latest information, the core specifications for Huawei’s next Kirin SoC have now been revealed on Baidu. It will be one of the first mobile APs manufactured on SMIC’s 5 nm node.

The Kirin 9010 will feature an eight-core CPU with two Taishan V130 performance cores (3.00 GHz max clock, 6/7 wide decode ALU, 128 KB L1 instruction cache, 64 KB L1 data cache, 1 MB L2 cache) and six Taishan V130 Lite efficiency cores (1.8 GHz max clock, 3/4 wide decode ALU, 64 KB L1 instruction cache, 32 KB L1 data cache, 256 KB L2 cache). It is supplemented by an 8 MB L3 cache and a Maleoon 920 GPU (6 CUs, 750 MHz clock speed).

Other Kirin 9010 specs include a Balong 6000 5G modem, a custom Kirin 8.0 ISP, and a Huawei Ascend NPU and support for LPDDR5 6,400 memory. The chip draws up to 5.2 Watts under a single-core load and 12.4 Watts in multi-core.
