Huawei this month added many patents and trademarks to its portfolio and now the company has another trademark named “Petal Translation” with the application number 53487717, which is classified into 42 categories of “design research.” Currently, it does not contain the trademark image, only text.
This trademark indicates that Huawei will make use it in the field of translation. Since trademark classification belongs to design research, not “scientific instruments” or “communication services,” it can be judged that Huawei will launch its own services in the field of translation technology.
According to the company’s data, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. recently applied for a number of trademarks, including “Hongmeng“, which belongs to 38 types of communication services, and the application number is 53488922. The internal beta version of Hongmeng OS 2.0 has been released recently and the smartphones such as Huawei Mate 30, Mate 40, P40 are in the testing stage.
