Huawei Xu Zhijun: Huawei will survive in 2023 with quality

As the year 2022 draws to an end, Huawei is trying to come back with as many possibilities as possible. Ahead of 2023 arrival, Xu Zhijun, Huawei’s rotating chairman, said in his 2023 New Year’s speech that 2022 will be a year in which Huawei will gradually turn from a wartime state of coping with constant sanctions by the United States to a normal operation of sanctions, and it will also gradually turn danger into safety year.

Xu Zhijun cleared that 2023 is the first year for Huawei to operate normally under the normalization of sanctions, and it is also a critical year. “2023 will be an extraordinary year. All Huawei employees will forge ahead bravely, overcome all difficulties and obstacles, and survive with quality.”

Xu Zhijun revealed that Huawei is expected to achieve sales revenue of 636.9 billion yuan in 2022, and its operating results are in line with expectations.

To recall in 2022, Huawei launched Mate 50 series, Huawei Pocket S, etc but 5G devices are still missing as per the restrictions. Earlier it was reported that Huawei’s mobile phone shipments in the third quarter reached 8.6 million units, a year-on-year increase of 48.3%.
