After one year the Huawei Mate 10 Lite now starts receiving July 2020 patch, Smart charge and Huawei assistant

Huawei Mate 10 lite was launched in 2017 and after that, the device received numerous updates but after November 2019 the Mate 10 lite users were waiting for the new update and now the company has started rolling out the July 2020 patch, Smart charge, and Huawei assistant update in China. Check the full changelog below.

This update improves system security using Android security patches.

[HUAWEI Assistant]

Adds the HUAWEI Assistant app to the Start screen, which provides you with smart reminders, personalized news and other content that is relevant to you.

[Battery]

Adds the Intelligent Battery Saving function, which reduces battery aging by intelligently adapting the battery capacity to the battery status. To test the function, go to Settings> Battery> More battery settings and enable Smart battery management.

[Security]

Integrates Android security patches released in July 2020 for improved system security. For more information on the security of Huawei’s EMUI system updates, visit the official Huawei website: https://consumer.huawei.com/de/support/bulletin/2020/7/

Notes on updating:

1. Your personal data will not be deleted by the update. However, we recommend that you back up important data before updating.
2. If you have problems during the update, call the Huawei customer service line or visit a Huawei customer service center.
3. The update package is automatically deleted when the update is complete.

Huawei Mate 10 Lite Key Specifications:

The Mate 10 Lite phone from Huawei runs on Android v7.0 (Nougat) operating system. The phone is powered by in-house HiSilicon Kirin 659 Chipset and has 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage.

Huawei Mate 10 Lite smartphone has an AMOLED display. For selfies the device has a 13 MP + 2 MP Dual Front Cameras and on the rear, there’s a 16 MP + 2 MP camera with features like Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus. It is backed by a 3340 mAh battery.
