Huawei Mate 50 Series to come with new Emergency mode

Huawei Mate 50 series launch is around the corner, the whole Mate 50 series phones – Huawei Mate 50, Huawei Mate 50 Pro, and Huawei Mate 50 RS Porsche Design Edition are expected to be launched on September 07, 2022.

A recent report claimed that the next Huawei Mate 50 Pro will not be able to use a 5G-enabled processor, and will probably use an old Snapdragon 888 or a Kirin 9000S, depending on the market. According to the latest news, the exciting news is that the Mate 50 series will launch with a new Emergency mode.

The function developed by Huawei goes one step further, and focuses on allowing us to use the mobile even if the battery has run out. Basically, the Mate 50 Pro will not completely drain the battery, but will turn off even if it still has a little left; but even with the mobile turned off, we can activate the emergency mode to access some functions such as calls, text messages and even a scanner with the camera.

In this Emergency mode, consumption would be very low because most of the mobile’s functions will be inaccessible; but it should be enough to contact a relative or friend, for example. This feature is expected to arrive with the version of HarmonyOS 3.0.
