Huawei Smart Screen S3 Pro 86-inch variant: Everything you need to know

Huawei has officially launched a new version of its Smart Screen S3 Pro series, which previously offered 65-inch and 75-inch models. The latest addition to the series is an 86-inch variant that comes with a larger size but also for its enhanced brightness and improved color accuracy.
The all-new Smart Screen S3 Pro 86-inch edition was launched with a 4K (3,840 x 2,160) IPS panel, it does have a slightly lower pixel density compared to its 65-inch and 75-inch counterparts.
Huawei Smart Screen S3 Pro Specifications
As per the specifications are concerned, the 86-inch edition brings a native refresh rate of 120 Hz, ensuring smooth visuals. Also, it includes a dedicated game mode that utilizes “frequency doubling technology” to work with a 240 Hz refresh rate. However, it’s important to note that this technology does not achieve true 240 Hz, as the HDMI 2.1 ports of the Smart TV cannot handle the bandwidth required for 4K/240 Hz.
Apart from the above limitation, the 86-inch edition offers improved brightness, peaking at 500 nits. This is 100 nits higher than the 75-inch version and 115 nits more than the 65-inch variant, resulting in a vibrant and vivid display.

These include a 1080p webcam, an NT72676 chipset, 4 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of storage.

According to the official information, the Smart Screen S3 Pro 86-inch edition is available in China for CNY 11,999. This price is CNY 4,000 higher than the retail price of its 75-inch.
