HarmonyOS officially launched-1

On June 2, 2021, Wang Chenglu, president of Huawei’s consumer business software department, said at the Huawei HarmonyOS 2 and Huawei’s full-scene new product launch conference that, apart from HarmonyOS 2, no other system can achieve only one system regardless of the size of the device.

HarmonyOS 2 is based on distributed technology, users can freely combine hardware and integrate multiple terminals into one, making it as simple as using one device for consumers.

Users can freely combine hardware according to their needs, such as mobile phones connected to drone cameras and sports cameras for multi-camera shooting; PCs, tablets and mobile phones are connected together for collaborative office; mobile phones and refrigerators are connected to intelligently recommend the temperature of different ingredients.

He said that the Harmony operating system is a full-stack decoupled architecture. A set of code can be used on mobile phones, watches, and many small devices. HarmonyOS 2 also provides some convenient functions, such as a unified control center, which can play music from different apps through music cards, and can also deliver music to different devices; in the HyperTerminal entrance, multiple devices can be easily connected.
