Huawei EMUI officially announced the upgrade plan for the knuckle screenshot feature. The smartphones will receive the public beta at the end of May 2020. The latest EMUI update will include Knuckles Gestures such as Capture part of the screen, Take a scrolling shot, independent screenshot, Record screen, and Split Screen.

Enable Knuckle Gestures in Huawei EMUI:
Go to Settings > Accessibility features > Shortcuts & gestures to enable Take a screenshot, Record screen, and Split screen.
Take a screenshot:
Knock twice on the screen with a knuckle to take a screenshot.
Take a scrollshot:
Knock on the screen with a knuckle and draw an “S” to take a scrolling screenshot.
Capture part of the screen:
Knock and draw an enclosed area with a knuckle to capture part of the screen.
Record screen:
Knock twice on the screen with two knuckles to start or end a screen recording.
Split screen:
Firmly draw a line across the screen with a knuckle to enter the split-screen mode.
The knuckle gesture function was developed based on FingerSense, a control platform of Qeexo Co., and debuted in Huawei P10 series mobile phones. At present, this feature is available in the high-end mobile phone models of Huawei and Honor.
