Huawei Petal Maps is now available in the Huawei Watch 3 Series. Users can download from the AppGallery in HUAWEI WATCH 3, can transfer navigation data directly to the smartwatch.

Petal Maps version 1.9 helps facilitate the transition to everyday life post-pandemic by providing consumers with useful ways to make their journeys seamless with new traffic situation updates, immersive weather layers, satellite maps, ride navigation and favorite places lists. Some of the new features are as follows:

Commute cards: This feature helps users navigate their way home as efficiently as possible. Petal Maps allows users to enter the location of their home and office, create shortcut cards to quickly check their commute times and routes, while advanced navigation now includes public transport routes as well as driving, walking and cycling options. Home and workplace information is only stored in the app, subject to strict privacy measures.

Weather Layer: The new weather layer feature gives users a detailed idea of ​​where they are going with its stunning animation features. With the new and improved addition, weather information can be displayed directly on the map with interesting animated effects.

Satellite Map and Terrain Layer: The new and improved Satellite Map provides users with an intricate view of the landscapes they travel through via satellite imagery. The high-resolution map allows users to identify geographic features with pinpoint accuracy.

Real-Time Traffic Conditions: The new update also introduced easy-to-follow rainbow colors that help show traffic speed ahead, which users can see at a glance. In addition, drivers will be able to use the expanded junction map screens, which makes navigating complex junctions extremely easy.

As per the specifications are concerned, the Huawei Watch 3 sports a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 466×466, a pixel density of up to 326PPI, a maximum brightness of 1000nit, and a refresh rate of 60Hz. It has a 3D large-curvature mirror design, a new 3D rotating crown, a stainless steel body, and multiple watch straps such as rubber, leather, and metal.

Huawei Watch 3 supports eSIM independent communication capabilities and can make calls without a mobile phone. It currently supports China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Telecom’s No. 1 dual terminal.
