Huawei has officially announced that the EMUI 10.1 and Magic UI 3.1 internal beta and public beta recruitment for the top 36 selected models. EMUI 10.1 was launched on March 26 along with the Huawei P40 series (Huawei P40, Huawei P40 Pro & Huawei P40 Pro Plus). The Huawei EMUI 10.1 brings Multi-Device Control Panel, Disturbed Gallery, MeeTime calling experience, New Vibrant AOD, Convenient Multi-Window – (Drag & Drop Easily & Smooth), Golden Snap, and more.

Support Huawei computers to directly open and edit mobile phone files; One-click access to mobile phone networks Simultaneously display mobile notifications.

- On April 27, 2020: According to the Huawei official announcement, the Huawei Mate 30 series users can now update smartphones to the latest EMUI 10.1 version via the Support App.
- On April 27, 2020: Huawei has officially released the EMUI 10.1 version 10.1.0.100 for the Honor 9X series smartphone users. This version pushed to all users on the EMUI 10.1.
- On April 27, 2020: Huawei has released a new software update to the MatePad users. The latest update is based on EMUI 10.1 and brings version 10.1.0.115 with the Multi-device control center/panel, System, and Audio optimization.
- On April 27, 2020: Huawei P40 and P40 Pro smartphone users getting a new update with version number EMUI 10.1.0.123. It optimizes the camera experience and audio effect in some scenarios.
