Huawei’s latest Emotion UI EMUI 10 brings new version of the AOD (Always-on display), it includes new features and enhanced design. You can now customize the AOD with clock styles, widgets, and themes, making your smartphone look much better.
The Always-on Display is becoming ever more popular among smartphone users. It gives you quick and easy access to important information, such as the time and the date, the battery level, or new messages and calls, without having to power on the phone’s screen.
With EMUI 10, this key feature gets a new look and a new layer of customization. Now you can choose between several clock styles and themes, while some new widgets will display the battery status and other relevant notifications.
EMUI 10 Always-on Display comes with an original Morandi style color scheme. Instead of the black and white design of the previous version, now you can set the text color to change depending on the time of the day.
Enable Always-on Display
If you wondering how to enable AOD in Huawei phones with EMUI 10, it’s simple just tap on Settings and select Home Screen & Wallpaper. There enable Always on Display. You can set it for the entire day or schedule it according to your preferences, by setting the Start and End time.
Customize Clock & Themes
From the Always-on Display menu you can also customize this feature. Tap Clock Style and slide across the available themes and layouts and select the one that best suits you.
