Huawei has kicked off the May 2022 EMUI update for its selected devices. Now, the company has started pushing out the same update for the Mate 20 Pro in the global market. The all-new update contains only a security patch and the firmware version will be identified as EMUI 22.214.171.124.

Notes on updating:
1. Your personal data will not be deleted by the update. However, we recommend that you back up important data before updating.
2. If you encounter problems during the update, call the Huawei customer service line or visit a Huawei customer service center.
3. Your system ringtones may change after installing this update. Go to Settings> Sounds to set new ringtones.
