Huawei has a good track record when it comes to rolling out security patches for the devices. The company has started rolling out a new update for the Nove 6 SE smartphone users which brings the latest December 2020 Android security patch. This security update includes the CVE announced in the December 2020 Android security bulletin. It includes 1 Critical and 11 High levels of CVE’s.
Huawei Nova 6 SE users are receiving updates with software version 10.1.0.228. Before installing the update users must make sure that their device is 50% charged. Check the changelog below.

- Upgrade Version : 10.1.0.227 -> 10.1.0.228.
- Incorporate the Android December 2020 security patch to enhance the security of the smartphone.
- Model: Nova 6 SE (JNY-AL10).
- The version is pushed in batches and currently rolling out in China.
