Huawei will hold global flagship new product launch conference on July 6: Huawei P50, MatePad 11 and more
Huawei has officially announced that it will hold a flagship new product launch conference overseas on July 6 (Huawei Asia Pacific Summer Product Launch Conference Overseas Special).
According to the poster, the new products released this time include two monitors, a new generation of TWS true wireless headphones, mobile phones, tablets, and smartwatches, etc., and they are also Hongmeng Eco products, and the possibility of overseas release of the P50 series is not ruled out.
It is worth mentioning that Huawei released some new products in China on June 2. It is expected that the global launch will include Huawei FreeBuds 4, Huawei Nova 8i, Huawei MateView GT, Huawei MateView monitors, and other products.
Huawei Mall has now opened an appointment for the new product of the MatePad 11 tablet, starting at 2,499 yuan, and the new product will be released on July 6. In addition, Huawei’s MatePad 11 tablet has already been put on in markets such as Germany, but it has not yet been officially released.
In addition to the Huawei MatePad 11 tablet, Huawei also has a number of new products postponed, such as the flagship phone of the P50 series. According to the news, the Huawei P50 standard version will be divided into two models, which are equipped with the Snapdragon 888 4G version and the Kirin 9000L chip.
The latter will be built using Samsung’s 5nm EUV process. The overall design is similar to Kirin 9000 and Kirin 9000E, but the configuration is slightly reduced.
The news pointed out that Kirin 9000L reduced the main frequency of the large CPU core A77 to 2.86GHz, while the previous Kirin 9000 and Kirin 9000E both used the 3.13GHz A77 large core.
In terms of GPU, compared to the other two models, it has a larger reduction and is equipped with an 18-core Mali-G78 CPU.
The long-awaited Huawei P50 series will debut soon. Whether the Huawei P50 5G version equipped with Kirin 9000 will be unveiled at the end of the month is worth looking forward to.

The Tau Scaling Law proposes replacing geometric shrinking with time scaling. Instead of worrying about making components smaller, the company is focusing on reducing the exact amount of time it takes for electrical signals to move across circuits, chips, and entire computing systems. By compressing these internal transmission delays, the company can steadily improve overall chip performance without needing rare manufacturing equipment.
The roadmap to competitive hardware matching
The company revealed that this framework is not just a theoretical idea. Over the past six years, the chip division of the company has quietly designed and mass-produced 381 distinct chips utilizing this time-based method across consumer electronics and large-scale data networks. This foundational experience is giving the company high confidence in its future hardware delivery timeline.
According to official statements, the company expects its premium chips to achieve an operational transistor density equivalent to a highly advanced 1.4-nanometer process by the year 2031. This timeline puts the company on a highly competitive path to match major global foundries that are currently aiming to mass-produce their own 1.4-nanometer chips around late 2028.
