After two years Huawei P8 Lite receiving September 2020 security patch

Huawei P8 Lite was released in January 2017 with a 5.2-inch full HD display, powered by the phone is a Kirin 655 octa-core processor the phone has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. For pictures, it has a 12-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. At the official debut, the 8 Lite runs on EMUI 5.0 on top of Android 7.0 Nougat and it is backed with a non-removable 3000mAh battery.

In the past few months, Huawei has delivered a security patch to the old and mostly former flagships, e.g. the Mate 9 or the P10 Plus. The P8 lite smartphone latest update comes with software version 8.0.0.410 and the package size is 2.72 GB.
