Hongmeng OS is ready to use in Huawei Smartphones

Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei told Sina Finance today at the 2020 Winter Davos Forum that the Hongmeng operating system is ready and will be applied to Huawei’s mobile phones, tablets, TVs and other products in the future.
During the interview, Ren Zhengfei emphasized again that Huawei will not participate in the entire vehicle manufacturing, and will only provide auto parts to automakers.
Regarding Hongmeng, Wang Chenglu, president of Huawei’s consumer business software department, once said that Huawei’s mobile phones will still prefer Android, and Hongmeng will be used if it is not needed. In addition, the Hongmeng system is also in the process of continuous improvement and maturity. It is expected that it will be officially open sourced in August next year.
The Hongmeng operating system is expected to exceed Linux by the end of 2020 and become the fifth most popular intelligent digital terminal operating system.
Huawei last year announced the self-developed operating system “Hongmeng“. Yu Chengdong said that in the next 5-10 years, Huawei’s long-term strategy for consumer business is a full-scenario smart life strategy. And once again mentioned the “1+8+N” strategy of Huawei’s consumer business: 1 is the mobile phone is the main entrance, 8 is the entrance of 4 large screens: PC, tablet, smart big screen, car screen, not now released There are headphones, speakers, watches, glasses.
