Huawei brings 50 Gbps E-band Solution for 5G Deployment

During the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2022, Huawei introduced an all-new microwave solution for 50 Gbps E-band. At the same time, for the conventional frequency band, it provides the suburban SuperLink minimalist solution and the full-band ECOwave network energy-saving solution with 10Gbps bandwidth exceeding 40km transmission capacity.

Demand for higher bandwidth will only continue to soar as 5G develops. To help address these challenges and achieve effective spectrum utilization, Huawei has released a 2T2R E-band solution that allows a single device to support XPIC and offers up to 25 Gbps transmission capacity, 2.5 times that of existing single-channel devices.

With the Super MIMO solution, Huawei has also introduced the industry’s first-ever single-antenna 50 Gbps E-band, fulfilling the bandwidth requirements of dense urban areas. Huawei’s integrated long-reach E-band improves the transmit power by 6 dB to 24 dBm.

Huawei provides SuperLink low-frequency minimalist large-bandwidth solution, which consists of the industry’s first 3-in-1 multi-band antenna and low-frequency 4-in-1 CA ODU, providing 10Gbps transmission capacity over 40km , saving 70% of iron towers Space and load-bearing, meet the full coverage of long-distance scenes in the suburbs.

In addition, Huawei supports the ECOwave green energy-saving solution in all frequency bands. For existing networks, device-level energy-saving and link-level energy-saving solutions can reduce energy consumption by up to 10%. For newly-built networks, the long-distance simplified solution is deployed to reduce the number of hardware, and the device-level energy-saving and link-level energy-saving solutions are superimposed to reduce the overall energy consumption by up to 20%.
