In an interview, William Tian, Country Managing Director for Huawei Germany, announced that Huawei Pay will start in Germany later this year. As we know, the new Huawei devices/smartphones cannot use Google services, a separate solution is also required, which is called Huawei Pay.
“In China, we have been offering contactless smartphone payments with Huawei Pay for years. Huawei Pay will come to Europe and Germany in 2020. ” – William Tian.
The exact date of the Huawei Pay launch is not available yet. It is also not yet clear which banks will provide support as a partner. Stay tuned for more.
