A new trademark application has just surfaced that Huawei registers the name “Autoware.” The international classification involves scientific instruments, transportation vehicles, and design research. The current trademark status is “application for registration.”
“Autoware” is the world’s first “integrated” open source software for auto-driving cars.
Huawei published a patent for “An Autonomous Driving Method, Related Equipment, and Computer-readable Storage Media”, with the publication number CN113128303A.
This method is applied to the cloud server, which can reduce the risk of autonomous driving:
Receive vehicle attribute information reported by the target vehicle and travel information of the target vehicle;
Among them, the vehicle attribute information of the target vehicle is used to generate an automatic driving strategy;
Obtain the layer information of the first road segment driven by the target vehicle in the automatic driving strategy layer according to the itinerary information;
Obtain the first driving strategy according to the layer information of the first road section and the vehicle attribute information of the target vehicle;
Send the first driving strategy to the target vehicle. The implementation of this application can reduce the risk of autonomous driving.
