In Europe, Huawei Watch GT2 Pro users are now able to install the May 2022 firmware update. This also includes updates for the Porsche Design version (PORSCHE DESIGN | WATCH GT2), which are identical.
The May 2022 software update for the Watch GT 2 pro is rolling out with the software version 11.0.8.26. You will receive the firmware updates via the associated HUAWEI Health app, which you also used to pair your watch.

TO THE CHANGES
The update brings a new feature to the GT 2 Pro, Petal Maps. You can also use your smartwatch for navigation in connection with navigation on your smartphone. Unfortunately, all HUAWEI smartwatches so far only offer the arrow display and no map view for navigation.
There are further optimizations in sleep monitoring. Since HUAWEI is constantly working on the various programs for the health functionalities, it’s nice that these optimizations then also benefit the older models.
