January 2022 security update rolling out for Nova 5 Pro

Huawei has started rolling out the January 2022 security patch update for the Nova 5 Pro smartphone users and it comes with a software version HarmonyOS 2.0.0.212/213. This security update includes the CVE announced in the January 2022 Android security bulletin. It fixes 2 critical, 12 high levels of CVEs, 47 medium levels of CVEs while there’s no low level of CVEs.

As per the specifications concern, the Huawei Nova 5 Pro runs on the HiSilicon Kirin 980 Chipset. It has 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. For display the device gets an OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 403 PPI pixel density.
