WhatsApp to bring Protect Backup feature probably in the next update. The company is working on security features to protect your backup hosted on Google Drive.
This feature is currently under development. To understand basic things, it allows you to encrypt your backup with a password, so you’re sure that nobody will be able to see the content.
On March 3rd, WhatsApp has officially confirmed the rollout of dark mode for all users including Android & iOS.
