China Mobile’s 5G Communication Index Report, List of Top 10 smartphones

China Mobile’s 5G Communication Index Report is released. Huawei & Honor dominates on the top three. Some models do not support the N79 frequency band. The first phase mainly covers 5G mobile phones listed from November 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020, involving 20 models from 9 brands.
The 20 mobile phone’s 5G communication index ranged from 70-91 points, with an average of 81 points. The Honor V30 Pro scored a maximum of 91 points in the current period.
Among the 20 5G terminals on 6 chip platforms, the overall data transmission performance of the 3 terminals based on the HiSilicon 990 chip platform is relatively advanced, and the average data transmission performance of the Honor V30 Pro is 18% ahead of the other 19 terminals.
In addition to the N41 and N79 frequency bands, China Mobile encourages terminals to support more global 5G frequency bands to provide good technical guarantee for 5G international roaming users. Currently, Huawei’s mate30 series has leading multi-band support capabilities.
The first report has not yet covered products such as Huawei P40 series, Honor 30 series, Nova 7 series, and more. We may see these products in second report.
