Honor has started rolling out the July 2020 security patch for the Honor 8X Max smartphone users in China. The latest update is based on EMUI 9.1 and comes with software version 18.104.22.168. The base version required for this upgrade is 22.214.171.124.
The update size is less than 100MB and it is rolling out in batches. Users who have not received it please wait patiently.

Honor 8X Max smartphone runs on Android v8.1 (Oreo – now upgradable) operating system. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 Chipset. It has 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage.
Honor 8X Max smartphone has an IPS LCD display. The screen has a resolution of 1080 x 2244 pixels and 350 ppi pixel density. On the camera front, users gets 8 MP Front Camera and on the rear, there’s a 16 MP + 2 MP camera with features like Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus.
