Huawei files trademark for “Huawei Mate Watch”

Huawei has filed a trademark for “Huawei Mate Watch”, the company is planning to add another smartwatch in-line, apart from trademark info other details are not available yet.

Huawei recently launched the Watch GT 2e smartwatch with 100 Workout Modes. Huawei products with in-house Kirin chip performing well in the wearable market. Kirin A1 is Huawei’s first wearable chip that supports both wireless audio devices and smartwatches, it is also certified by Bluetooth 5.1 and other standards.

Earlier, Huawei’s Director states that Huawei aims to launch new wearables soon as the company is looking to expand its range of products powered by the Kirin A1 chip in 2020 and 2021.
