Huawei Mate X7 New Details Leak

Huawei is working on a new foldable phone and testing different camera setups. The company is trying out two main camera options – both take 50-megapixel photos, but one has a bigger sensor than the other.
The phone will also have a special lens that can zoom in far and take close-up photos, plus a sensor that can see different types of light.
The phone will be waterproof and very thin and light – something Huawei always tries to do with their foldable phones. The screen will have a wider shape than regular phones.
A tech insider says Chinese phone makers will keep making foldables thinner and lighter, and they’ll keep using these wider screens.
But there’s bad news about the price – foldable phones will stay expensive for a while. This is because they cost a lot of money to develop and fix when they break. Right now, Huawei is the only Chinese company actually making money from selling foldable phones.
The key points:
- New camera being tested with 50MP photos
- Will be waterproof, thin, and light
- Foldable phones will stay expensive

Huawei-Shangjie released the first official images of H5 model

As reported on July 14th, Shangjie, the new automotive brand has reportedly developed the new car model with Huawei and SAIC Motor (SHA: 600104). The company has now officially released the very first official images of its debut model, the H5, after starting to warm up for the SUV (sport utility vehicle) model last week.
Huawei-Shangjie First Model Images
Shangjie shared three images of the H5 on Weibo , showcasing the vehicle’s exterior design. It features a LiDAR sensor on the roof, similar to many Chinese EV models.
The Shangjie H5 to be equipped with Huawei’s ADS 4 driver assistance system upon launch, delivering a top-tier experience, Richard Yu, Huawei’s executive director and chairman of the consumer business group, said while reposting the Weibo.
The Qiankun ADS 4 smart driving system adopts a future-oriented architecture for autonomous driving, featuring a “world engine + world behavior model” framework, which improves traffic efficiency by 20 percent, according to Huawei’s website.
ADS 4 has four variants — ADS SE, ADS Pro, ADS Max, and ADS Ultra — supporting smart driving capabilities from Level 2 to Level 3.
Shangjie is the fifth automotive brand under Huawei’s HIMA (Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance) umbrella, with the other four being Aito from Seres Group, Luxeed from Chery, Stelato from BAIC Group, and Maextro from Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group (JAC).
On April 16, Yu officially unveiled the Shangjie brand at a new product launch event for HIMA’s business, stating that the goal is to launch the first Shangjie EV model this fall.
On July 11, Shangjie posted its first content on its Weibo account, beginning to build anticipation for its first model. Yu mentioned at the time that the Shangjie model would be launched in the fall and would feature strong smart driving capabilities.
There is currently no pricing information available for the Shangjie H5. On February 17, local media outlet Yicai reported that the starting price for the new brand’s first model would be about RMB 150,000 ($20,920), making it the most affordable under the HIMA umbrella.
Shangjie’s initial investment is RMB 6 billion, and it will utilize SAIC’s most mature production lines, SAIC president Jia Jianxu said in April. In the future, it will have its own dedicated factory, he said.
